Lori James – President
and Owner
With over 17 years experience in hospitality sales, meeting planning,
special events, and travel management, Lori James brings an incredible
amount of knowledge and talent to AZA Events. As a previous Sales
Manager for Hyatt Hotels and meeting planner for Fortune 500 companies
such as Circle K Corporation, America West Airlines, and MicroAge,
Lori has developed a broad knowledge of the hospitality industry,
as well as a highly regarded reputation for customer service. Because

background, Lori has a keen understanding
of what meeting planning clients expect and deserve from their DMC
suppliers, and is valued for her exceptional ability to execute
innovative and efficient programs. Her innate talent for detail
and organization, combined with uncompromising professionalism and
integrity, make her a welcome addition to any team.
Lori also finds time to volunteer in professional
industry organizations such as Meeting Planners International (MPI)
and Society of Incentive & Travel Executives (SITE). She currently
serves on the SITE Arizona Board of Directors and is a former member
of the MPI Arizona Sunbelt Chapter Board of Directors and the former
Education Committee Chairperson. In May 2000, she received the MPI
"Rising Star" award for the leadership and commitment
to the chapter. Lori's enthusiasm and willingness to serve are evident
in her dedicated involvement, her attitude and her client relationships.

Roger Brownell –
Chief Financial Officer
Roger comes to AZA Events with a wide variety of business and financial
acumen, and has owned and operated several successful businesses over
the past 30 years. Roger also owns a nationwide company, Spectrum
Applications, Inc. that he successfully operates throughout 40 states.
Roger is a certified realtor since 1986 and a current member of Scottsdale
Board of Realtors. A graduate of The State University of New York
at Buffalo with a Bachelors Degree in Business |

Administration
and minor in Accounting. Roger oversees all financial operations,
legal affairs and human resources of AZA Events.

Catherine Newell –
Program Manager
With over 4 years of destination management,
public relations and marketing experience, Catherine brings vitality
to AZA Events, Inc. As a previous Program Manager for a local destination
management company, Catherine has developed a broad knowledge of the
industry in the Southwest. Her experience gives her a keen understanding
of the industries nuances. Her dedication to provide exemplary customer
service to all of her clients and suppliers comes across |
