CAPE CORONADO

AZA Events and the San Diego Tourism Authority hosted one dozen planners from across North America for three days, to showcase the best of what San Diego has to offer as a destination for incentive trips. We celebrated a successful week with a farewell dinner on the beach of our host hotel, the iconic Hotel del Coronado. Decor was inspired by a coastal cape town. We set the scene with wooden farm tables and rustic chairs, along with a grouping of burlap soft seating and a fire pit circle with Adirondack chairs. Every last detail was garnished with traditional seaside accessories to complete the look. Interactive entertainment included roasting gourmet s'mores by the camp fire, a custom Sand Castle artist, beach games and a solo guitarist. The Hotel del Coronado developed a beautiful menu inspired by a New England clambake, served family style, to coincide with the theme.
